4-H Project Exhibits

Set-up:

  • Monday June 22, 2026 5:00-8:00 PM
  • Tuesday June 23, 2026 10:00-11:00 AM

Judging

  • Tuesday June 23, 2026 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

A contact name & number for a Club Leader or pick up person MUST be left with a 4-H official at set up.

Hall Exhibits: Open to all Kennebec, Androscoggin, and Sagadahoc 4-H members.
Exhibits may be removed from the Hall Sunday June 28th 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or at the convenience of the hall Superintendent.

4-H Club Exhibit Requirements:

  • All clubs will display their projects as a club unit in a space assigned. To be assigned space, please call the Extension Office at 622-7546/1-800-287-1481.
  • Clubs are urged to use their members’ projects as their major display items. Other decorations may be used to enhance the overall appearance of the club display (crepe paper, streamers, dried flowers, etc.)

Club Table Exhibit Premiums:

  • 3 – $15 prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring clubs.
  • One $8 prize may be awarded to an outstanding individual exhibit.

Individual Project Exhibits

All 4-H projects exhibited must be made after October 1 of the current 4-H year and must be made by 4-H members enrolled in that specific project.

All Exhibits must meet the 2026 Rules & Regulations as published by the Kennebec County Extension Office. The full list of Rules and Projects can be found at: https://monmouthfair.com/4-h/

Individual Project Premiums:
1st $4.00 ∙ 2nd $3.00 ∙ 3rd $2.00
5-8 year olds – $2.00

Each entry must have a standard 4-H Exhibit & Judging Card and Life Skills Card securely attached to it (no tape)

  • 4-H members may exhibit only one item in each project listed. NO POSTERS – space is too limited!
  • Any project not deemed worthy of a premium will be disqualified by the judges. Judges’ decisions are final.
  • Projects must meet the project area description to qualify for a premium.
  • Exhibitors are urged not to exhibit valuable items. The Monmouth Fair will afford the best protection and care of all exhibits; however, they and UM Cooperative Extension distinctly disclaim all liability for loss or damage to exhibits or personal property of exhibitors.
